Location
Egypt is located in the northeast of Africa. From Austria/Germany you fly only about 4 hours to Hurghada. Abu Soma is located about 48 km south of Hurghada, on one of the most beautiful shallow water areas we know and love. The turquoise water and the warm temperatures invite you all year round to surf, enjoy and have fun.

All beaches on Abu Soma are perfect for windsurfers and kitesurfers. The local surf station Surfmotion offers not only the complete surf equipment for rent, but also gladly provides you with VDWS or IKO licensed kitesurfing and windsurfing instructors. Since the entire surf spot in Abu Soma is relatively large, which has divided the spot into two areas (beginner and freeride area).
