Caminha im Norden Portugals zählt zu den besten Wingfoil-Destinationen Europas. Die Kombination aus breitem Sandstrand, geschützter Flussmündung des Rio Minho und konstanten Windbedingungen macht den Spot ideal für Einsteiger:innen ebenso wie für Fortgeschrittene.
Wingfoilen vereint Elemente aus Surfen, Kitesurfen und Windsurfen. Du fährst auf einem Surfboard mit Hydrofoil und steuerst einen leichten, aufblasbaren Wing, der dich mit Windkraft über das Wasser gleiten lässt. Das Material ist intuitiv zu handhaben und ermöglicht schnelle Lernerfolge unabhängig davon, ob du individuell anreist oder an einem unserer betreuten Programme teilnimmst.
Zu ausgewählten Zeiträumen sind auch Wingfoil Retreats buchbar. Diese eignen sich besonders für alle, die intensiver trainieren, gemeinsam reisen und zusätzliche Aktivitäten genießen möchten.

Alle Unterkünfte liegen in Strandnähe oder in kurzer Distanz zur Wing-Foil-Station und bieten je nach Unterkunft unterschiedliche Schwerpunkte: Komfort & Wellness, Ruhe in der Natur, gemeinschaftliches Wohnen oder maximale Flexibilität. So findest du genau die Unterkunft, die zu deinem Reisestil passt.
Für Retreat-Termine stehen Bungalows am Campingplatz zur Verfügung und täglich Frühstück in Gabys Restaurant + 2 x Abendessen.

Die Verpflegung variiert je nach Unterkunft.
Im Hotel ist das Frühstück inkludiert, optional kann Halbpension dazu gebucht werden. Apartments, Surf- und Ferienhäuser verfügen über Selbstversorgerküchen.
Am Campingplatz befindet sich ein Restaurant sowie ein kleiner Mini-Markt. Zusätzlich findest du in Caminha und Moledo zahlreiche Cafés und Restaurants mit regionaler Küche.

Caminha is a beautiful coastal town in the north of Portugal, near Moledo. The town is located at the mouth of the Minho River, which forms the border with Spain.

Every Wednesday there is a big market in Caminha where you can buy fresh produce, clothes and handicrafts. It's a great place to immerse yourself in local life and find some authentic souvenirs.

Since you will be in the water most of the time, you should bring several swimsuits or trunks to change into during your stay.
Also bring light and comfortable clothing suitable for warm weather. A pair of sneakers or hiking boots is also recommended if you want to hike in the area.

The best months for wingfishing in Portugal are from April to October, when the water temperature is pleasant and the wind blows regularly.
