Every Wednesday there is a big market in Caminha where you can buy fresh produce, clothes and handicrafts. It's a great place to immerse yourself in local life and find some authentic souvenirs.

Since you will be in the water most of the time, you should bring several swimsuits or trunks to change into during your stay.
Also bring light and comfortable clothing suitable for warm weather. A pair of sneakers or hiking boots is also recommended if you want to hike in the area.

The best months for wingfishing in Portugal are from April to October, when the water temperature is pleasant and the wind blows regularly.
