Our surf camp in Arrifana, Portugal, is the perfect place for surfers and surfers who want a authentic surfing experience search. Imagine you are staying overnight in a cozy villa with a spacious pool, a modern shared kitchen and free internet access. Here you will immediately feel comfortable and at home. And for those who want a little more privacy, we offer spacious guest houses and cozy apartments.
The Sandy beaches around our surf camp are among the best surf spots in all of Europe. Here you will find optimal conditions for surfing in Portugal. The waves are ideal for surfers of all levels, whether beginner, intermediate or professional. Our experienced surf instructors are at your side to help you improve your skills or even learn new tricks.
Away from surfing, there is plenty of space to relax at the surf camp. You can relax at the swimming pool sunbathe, exchange experiences with other surfers or just enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. Our surf camp also offers the possibility to go on local excursions and explore the surrounding area. You can Hikes along the impressive cliffs or visit the picturesque villages nearby.

You can choose between 4 types of accommodationdepending on your needs and budget.
In the Surfvilla you can choose between shared and double rooms.
If you prefer more privacy or are traveling with children and a surf camp does not meet your needs, we offer you the possibility of beautiful, fully equipped Apartments for self-catering for rent with us.
The Guesthouse offers four double rooms, three of which share a bathroom, while one double room has its own bathroom. After an exciting day of surfing you can relax on the terrace and enjoy the evening.
If you have a somewhat tighter travel budget, but still don't want to miss out on surfing, we offer you the opportunity to stay in our Surfvilla garden at camping.

Apartments:
Our apartments are for Two to six people and have a living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and a terrace or garden. They also offer amenities such as TV, telephone and internet. The apartments are located about 1000 meters away from our surf villa. However, you can always use the surf villa and the infrastructure of the surf camp. We definitely recommend renting a car to ensure flexibility during your stay.
Guesthouse:
The guesthouse offers four double rooms, three of which share a bathroom, while one double room has its own bathroom. After an exciting day of surfing you can relax on the terrace and enjoy the evening. The swimming pool in the surf villa next door is also at your disposal.

In the Surfvilla we offer a Shared kitchen, where you can prepare snacks for the beach or cook together with other surfers after a day on the water. A Supermarket is only few minutes walk away from the camp, and there are also nice restaurants nearby. Once a week we organize a joint barbecue, and there are various offers such as all-you-can-eat pizza, delicious and healthy Poké Bowls or hearty, homemade dishes. So there is plenty of food, almost every evening.
For even more fun on your surf vacation you can optionally add the Breakfast package book in addition. With a All-you-can-eat breakfast for the week you start the day perfectly and enjoy your surf vacation to the fullest.
Equipment
The equipment for your surfing experience is up to date. The boards and wetsuits are freshly waxed and washed for you 😉

Arrifana is a picturesque coastal village in Portugal and is located on the west coast of the country, in the Algarve region. It is known for its breathtaking beauty, fascinating cliff landscapes and beautiful beaches, which make it a popular destination for tourists and surfers.
Interesting spots/trails
Near Arrifana there is a picturesque fishing village Carrapateira, which with its charming character and idyllic beaches like the Praia do Amado impressed. The Costa Vicentina Nature Park, which stretches along the west coast, is a nature lover's paradise, offering pristine beaches, stunning cliff landscapes, and diverse flora and fauna.

You travel best by plane to Lagos on. Either you can use our Shuttle to the surf camp in claim, or also a Rental car booking. All of course bookable directly through RETTER Sports.

Insider tips
Arrifana and its surroundings offer a variety of interesting spots to discover. One of the main attractions is undoubtedly the beautiful Praia da Arrifana itself, which is known for its impressive cliffs, golden sandy beaches and ideal surfing conditions. The majestic Ponta da Atalaia, a striking headland, offers breathtaking views of the sea and the coast.
