Trianda/Ialsyssos is a lively resort with many restaurants, bars and stores on the Greek island of Rhodes. It is one of the most popular resorts on the island. From Trianda you are by bus or by car in about 15 minutes in the city of Rhodes. Together with the Surfcenter Jürgen Niens you will experience breathtaking surf sessions on Trianda.

Die Studios in Ialyssos liegen nur 20 Meter vom Strand entfernt – direkt neben dem kleinen Windsurf-Center The Windmill und nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß vom ProCenter. Die Unterkünfte sind mit Küchenzeile, privaten Badezimmern und Balkonen ausgestattet. Das Surfhouse bietet zudem einen schönen Garten und gemütliche Gemeinschaftsbereiche – ideal zum Entspannen oder für gesellige Abende mit anderen Gästen. Rhodes is a jewel among the Greek islands. The island is the perfect destination to enjoy a relaxing beach vacation with culture. The island is not lacking in culture: the medieval old town, the acropolis of Lindos and the ruins of ancient cities await you on the island steeped in history. The old town of Rhodes is UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Trianda is the Surf spot par excellence on the beach of Ialyssos. This windsurfing spot invites all windsurfers to get fun on the water coupled with Greek flair.

Rhodes Trianda and the Surfcenter Jürgen Niens is for everyone, whether for groups, families, couples or singles. There is something on offer for all groups and everyone gets their money's worth.
Surf, surf, surf
The ProCenter Jürgen Niens in Trianda on Rhodes has 3 windsurfing stations.
The Pro Center 1 right on the premises of Hotel Blue Horizon has more than 150 surfboards from Fanatic & Tabou in normal and high-tech edition, plus more than 200 rigs from North Sails.
The Pro Center 2 is located on the left below the Hotel Blue Horizon, only about 50 m from the sea and is a high-tech center with material from JP Australia and Neil Pryde. Likewise, there is the possibility to book the premium class consisting of JP "Pro Edition" and a carbon fork each.
The Pro Center 3 "Windmill offers the perfect learning conditions for beginners and is located about 400 meters from the Pro Center Blue Horizon. This center is located in the shelter of the wind in a smaller bay, which causes a flat sea surface and less strong winds for the first 100 meters.
About 3 km from the Pro Center Blue Horizon is the "Rhodes Air-Riders" Kite Pro Center by Jürgen Niens. Kitesurfing is unfortunately not allowed at the Blue Horizon Pro Center. The Kite Center is fully equipped with North kites and boards suitable for all levels, from beginners to advanced and experienced kiters.
For takeoff and landing there is a service that is always at the disposal of our guests. For safety in the water, the jet-bike service is ready for rescue all day. Twice a day (to the Kite Center at 9:30 and 13:30; back from the Kite Center at 13:45 and 17:45) a free shuttle service is offered for guests who have booked kite courses only. The shuttle bus runs from the Blue Horizon Hotel to the Kite Center. There are no courses on Sundays.

Culture and sights
Do you also want to explore the culture and sights near Theologos? Then we recommend a trip to Rhodes Town. Rhodes Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and especially the Grand Master's Palace is worth seeing. Other places of interest are: Acropolis of Lindos, Prasonisi Peninsula or Moni Thari Monastery
Tips & Info
Rhodes is the fourth largest island of Greece and the main island of the Greek archipelago Dodecanese in the southeast Aegean Sea. The landscape is particularly characterized by mountains and pine forests. The mountains mostly reach the coasts and usually drop steeply to the sea. The south and north of the island are much flatter. In the south lies the small peninsula of Prasonisi.
The best and windiest time to travel are the summer months.
As everywhere in Greece, we recommend you to try the typical Greek dishes like tzatziki, moussaka, gyros or bifteki.
As in all of Greece, Rhodes has a very mild climate. However, it is not so dry and hot on Rhodes, as winds can reach the detached island relatively well, making it a perfect surf spot.
