The municipality of Saalbach-Hinterglemm is located southwest of Salzburg in the Pinzgau region. Saalbach is located in the so-called Glemmtal, a valley of the Saalach river. The municipality includes the villages Hinterglemm and Saalbach and belongs to the Kitzbühel Alps. The highest mountain is the Spielberghorn, a well-known "Bike & Hike" destination.
