Accommodation& Catering
The newly redesigned Hotel Bohinj, located in the center of Ribčev Laz, is just a stone's throw from Lake Bohinj and surrounded by beautiful nature. Here, modern architecture meets tradition. It’s simply a place to feel at home. Hotel Bohinj embodies the lake and the alpine landscape that gave the hotel its name, along with the rich local tradition and history.
Catering
The catering at the hotel will be half board. At the rich breakfast buffet, featuring fresh bread and croissants, high-quality cheeses, freshly prepared egg dishes, seasonal fruits, farm yogurt, muesli, and much more, you can fuel up for the day ahead.
In the evening, you'll be served a seasonal menu with a focus on local ingredients. If you follow a vegetarian or vegan diet, just let us know when booking.
Equipment
If you don’t have your own climbing shoes, don’t worry – we’ve got you covered. You can easily rent all the necessary equipment on-site. Mats for the optional yoga sessions are available at the hotel.
We also recommend packing your hiking boots so you can explore the many hiking trails in the Triglav National Park.
Destination
& Arrival
Slovenia is a Paradise for bikers, hikers and nature lovers, with many spectacular landscapes and trails. The routes offer breathtaking views and different levels of difficulty, suitable for beginners and professionals. From the Alps to the coast, Slovenia offers countless opportunities for bikers and hikers to enjoy nature and experience adventure.
The Triglav National Park is the only national park in Slovenia. It is named after Slovenia’s highest peak, Triglav, which rises to 2,864 meters. The park covers most of the Julian Alps and is the largest protected area in Slovenia. It is divided into three protection zones, with the two inner zones having stricter regulations than the third, outer zone, which is also more densely populated. The symbiosis between the local population and the park is evident in various areas. The park is part of the Julian Alps Biosphere Reserve, Slovenia's first biosphere reserve within the UNESCO family.
