The beach of Jericoacoara has everything that makes the heart of surfers beat faster. And that all year round - due to the optimal wind conditions, surfing is even possible in December. The wind comes diagonally offshore from the right and can be gusty at high tide directly in front of the station, generating waves up to 2.5 meters high from October to December. In summer, from July to September, the waves are lower with about 0.5 - 1 meter height. So here you will find the best kite spots in Brazil, long waves for surfing and the best wind conditions that make windsurfing a dream.

Pousada Blue Jeri Pousada Blue Jeri is a cozy 3* accommodation with very good standard - the hotel has a pool with a fantastic sea view. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, refrigerator, TV and safe. Breakfast is included. Distance to the station about 200 m and to the beach about 150 m.
Pousada Ponta da Pedra This accommodation is located directly on the beach and the surf station. The studios have air conditioning, refrigerator and TV and are bookable for max. 2 persons. The included breakfast is served on the terrace located directly on the beach.
Pousada Surfing Jeri A special tip is the Surfing Jeri. The beautiful facility is located near the surf center, but also the garden area with pool invites you to linger. The facility is divided into the standard rooms for up to 3 people and the larger bungalows for up to 5 people. The equipment is the same in both cases, with air conditioning, refrigerator, TV and safe they offer all the amenities of a 3* house. Breakfast is included.
The walking istance to the surf station about 200 m and to the beach about 50 m.
Pousada Ibiscus This colorful accommodation has 10 studios with bathroom, toilet, air conditioning, TV and safe. The studios of cat. A are bookable for 2 persons and also have a balcony. The studios of category B are bookable for up to 4 persons, these are equipped with a double bed and a bunk bed. The distance to the surf station is about 400 m and to the beach about 300 m.

Jericoacoara has been considered one of the windiest spots for some time now! The approx. 1 km² village north of Fortaleza offers excellent wind conditions from June - February due to its location.
Interesting spots/trails
The tides have an enormous influence on windsurfing in Jeri, at low and high tide you should not underestimate the currents. However, there is always a Baywatch service offered and in case of emergency the surfer will be picked up again by motorboat. At high tide the water reaches up to Club Ventos, at low tide a distance of up to 150 m is possible. All in all, a quite demanding, wind-safe spot for skill levels 3-6.
There are plenty of sheltered spots where you can chill out, a self-service restaurant and of course a surf store where you can buy windsurfing equipment and a new outfit. Furthermore, services like 24 hours WiFi for free, buggy or mangrove excursions and professional massages in the wellness area are standard!

Even after the surf day is not over at the station. From 18.00h there is a happy hour and then again and again evening program; whether BBQ, video analysis or simply a cozy movie night under the open sky. There is something for everyone.

Program
The Surf beginners courses take place in small groups with a maximum of 4 people. The total 9 hours are spread over 3 days. Private courses are also available for intermediate and advanced students.
Who his personal equipment should book the Kite Zone Pass. This includes the storage of your own equipment and the service for the kite zone with daily equipment transfer to the kite zone, launch and landing assistance, area supervision and rescue at a special price.
Tips & Info
The Duna do Por do Sol (sunset dune) is popular to watch the sunset. Tip: What should not be missing on your surf vacation in Jericoacoara is THE cocktail from Brazil, Caipirinha. So be sure to enjoy one or two as a sundowner after a surf session.
